Temlee & Zoom Top fields and box draws set for Monday

We’re on the doorstep of one of the biggest periods of the year, the 2026 Sportsbet Australian Cup Carnival at The Meadows.

It kicks off on Saturday February 14 with the hand picked Group 1 Temlee (525m) and Group 1 Zoom Top (730m) – both the field announcements and box draws will happen on Monday.

The finalists will be selected by the MGRA (Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association) with an aim to assemble the best quality fields, where in the opinion of the selection panel, all runners have a realistic chance of winning the race. Click here for full conditions.

Nominations for the meeting close (including Australian Cup heats, held on the same night) this Friday February 6 at 10am. Fields for the whole card will be released in the hours following the box draws of the two majors.

Box draws will be streamed live at approximately 1pm on Monday on a special edition of Grey Areas. You can tune in via the Watchdog App (download it in your respective App store) or The Meadows' Facebook page.

Sportsbet have Traumatise (very unlikely) for the Temlee narrowly ahead of Canya Mayhem, Cumbria Jack and Deadly Avenger. While as expected, Without A Trace is favourite for the Zoom Top.

While the racing will be fierce on the track, there's also plenty happening off it. Click here to see what's on across each night of the Carnival at The Meadows.
