Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher

On the horse: "She's always shown that sort of ability. Her first run in the Golden Gift was very good. She was just a bit mentally immature and physically, and she made really nice progression in the break. The Darby team have found another one, they do a very good job and I can't thank my team enough."

"She made really nice improvement out of her first run and her first-up run this preparation and just tightened nicely. I thought she presented well and she'll make similar improvement again."

On what she does now: "We'll just tick over. She's pretty right. This has been the plan all along, so she'll just go through her usual work pattern, but she's pretty well there now."

Winning Jockey: Zac Lloyd

On the horse: "She ran very well first-up, but both Ciaron and the owners sort of alluded to the fact that she'll improve off the run and they were exactly right. She dug deep today and I think the 1200m was a good step for her."

On being a Golden Sipper contender: "She definitely does (feel like a Golden Slipper horse). I think just her mentality and her will to win is going to take her a long way. She's good out of the machine, she does everything right, so that's going to really help her in a high-pressure race like the Golden Slipper."

Beaten Jockeys:

Tim Clark (By Choice): "She ran fantastic. Just lacked a turn of foot at the top of the straight but stayed on well. Will appreciate getting over a bit further."

Adam Hyeronimus (Lumbini): "She is a beautiful filly. I just worry that she has been up a long time and she is going to keep running these sorts of races time over again. A 3yo is her go."

Jason Collett (Ciaron's Star): "A bit tardy to begin. Just had to work on the turn at that was probably what told late."

Chad Schofield (Screen Icon): "She just keeps drawing the outside barrier but she is running very well. Feel like she is a filly flying under the radar. She is very good and John is doing a great job with her."

James McDonald (Pembrey): "She was a really good run. A little bit unlucky that she couldn't get a good crack at them."

Tommy Berry (Hardanger): "She is a lovely filly. Hasn't run a bad race. Probably a little bit in the inferior ground. In saying that, that is her at her best anyway. She is not up to the top level but she is just below them."

Jay Ford (Sumac): "Really nice. Tough initiation for her but she will improve heaps off that."
