On Sixties: "He was very tough. We've obviously beaten a very good horse too. Full credit to the horse's performance too and to the ride that Rachel gave him. She was able to dictate and do things her own way. To be fair he gave a dominant kick at the top of the straight. Obviously when he broke through for his maiden win he won by seven which takes an above average horse to win any race by seven. He is a very well bred colt and a group winner. Onwards and upwards for him."
On Autumn Boy: "There was a bit of vulnerability with him with the top weight and obviously the rail being out. He has flashed home in amazing fashion. He looks like he will look better again in terms of his coat in a fortnight's time. Two very exciting colts that we couldn't be happier with."
On the runner's up prep: "His old man actually got beaten first up as a 3yo then remained unbeaten so if he can echo that I think everyone will be happy."
"He is so inexperienced. He has never been in a fight. He didn't have a horse to duel with which is a slight negative in terms of experience but I'm sure fitness wise it will bring him on beautifully. I think The Autumn Sun was 1500m in the Stan Fox. It was an easier pathway going to this race rather than go against the top line sprinters in the Run To The Rose."
Winning Jockey: Rachel King
On the run: "I think he ran it out strongly. He probably just got a bit lonely at the end.
"He's quite a casual customer and he began well but I had to give him a little squeeze just to let him know what we were doing today. Once he got there, he really relaxed and I felt like through the mid stages, he got a really good breather in.
"I was happy to give him a squeeze just before the corner so I did ask him a question quite early, but I thought this is probably going to be to our advantage and hopefully we could skip away, which he did and held on well at the end."
On the second horse closing: "I could (hear the second horse coming) and I could hear the caller getting louder so I was worried; I knew it was coming.
"But even if he got run down the last bit, he still probably runs super against a good horse. So to go and beat a horse like that is even better for his profile."
