Winning Trainer: Ben, Will & JD Hayes (Ben speaking)

What looked an effortless win: "It was an impressive win. I got a bit worried as she got a bit hot in the mounting yard and got a bit worked up, but I think having trialled down the straight is very valuable.

"She jumped, she looked like she was comfortable the whole race and went to the line quite easily. We had a bit of pressure on us. Tom (Magnier) said to us, if we didn't get the trifecta with the Home Affairs fillies, we would be in trouble. Sorry Tom, we only got the quinella, hopefully that's OK."

Jump-out last week: "Two-year-olds are very hard, they either get it wrong, which we saw with Jacaranda, she dropped the bit early and didn't look comfortable, they don't know how to get into a rhythm, where the other two were professional, they jumped, got into a rhythm and gave good kicks.

It's a bit of a guessing game when you're running them and I say that to the owners, they either handle it or they won't. We say don't worry about that as they will improve out of sight. Having a look and seeing how they handle it is very important."

Jumping away cleanly: "It was and she did it really well and I think it's really exciting going forward. We'll have a good look at her, see how she pulls up and we'll have a discussion with the whole team at Lindsay Park and see where we go. It's good winning with these two-year-olds. It's something we pride ourselves on and to get results like this is very rewarding."

Winning Jockey: Luke Currie

"They're always very well educated (from the stable) and not often they don't run to the best of their ability when they bring them to the races.

"She had the couple of runs and then they took her down the straight for a look for the experience. Pretty easy.

Can she get further: "I think at this stage she is comfortable at this distance but who knows over time. She was sharp and dynamic today. She jumped straight and controlled it.

"She was never really going to get beaten."
