French banker of the day - 7th March 2026
Saturday’s French banker is a progressive and high-class chaser looking to claim Grade 3 honours…

Nador (James Reveley/Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm)
Auteuil – R4 - Prix duc d'Anjou
Nador suffered defeat on all three starts over hurdles, but he'd proved a completely different proposition since sent chasing and returns to Auteuil defending an unblemished record over fences following three fine successes at the track.
A wide margin chasing debut success over this course and distance set up a return for the Listed Prix Noiro and after a similar performance there, it was no shock to see connections opt to step him up to Grade 2 company.
The winning margin might not have been double figures in the Grade 2 Prix Congress, but his dominance remained as he controlled matters out in front under a confident James Reveley before battling on well up the straight.
His slick and aggressive jumping style ought to be a major asset here and although he carries a penalty for his recent Grade 2 success, it's hard to see that being enough to prevent him from making it four from four over fences here.
