French banker of the day - 5th March 2026
Thursday’s French banker is a talented four-year-old returning to turf…

Kraskhov (Mauricio Delcher-Sanchez/Christophe Soumillon)
Saint-Cloud – R1 - Prix Teddy
Kraskhov has proven himself as a useful performer in nine starts to date and looks well-poised to put up a bold bid as he returns to the turf in the Prix Teddy at Saint-Cloud.
Mauricio Delcher-Sanchez's charge doubled his tally when landing an all-weather handicap at Chantilly in October and that form has worked out nicely, with both Schuman and Marooned, who filled the runner-up and third-place on that occasion, going on to score subsequently.
He returned to the track following nearly four months off with a highly-promising fourth-place finish in a Class 2 handicap over six and a half furlongs at Deauville and with that reappearance run under his belt, combined with an inside draw and the services of Christophe Soumillon in the saddle, he looks to have every chance of going close in an competitive opener.
