Trainer Peter Schiergen is no stranger to having winners in France and Salitos might be able to help add to the tally.

A well put together son of In Swoop, apart from win, he couldn't have made much more of a pleasing debut when denied a neck at Chantilly in December.

It's no shock to see connections give him a couple of months off on the back of that promising performance and it's likely we'll see a more physically and mentally mature model this afternoon.

He should handle these conditions on the turf with no issue and with natural improvement surely expected, Peter Schiergen's three-year-old looks well-poised to go one spot better from his good draw in stall two.
