Race 1

#1 COUNTRY DANCER has recorded two career wins in class 5 company with the most recent back in January 2025 off a rating of 40 points. That's his current handicap mark entering this contest tonight and there appears to be plenty of race pressure throughout to suit his closing style.Add to that, the booking of inform 22yo jockey Dylan McMonagle, who sits and rides the saddle incredibly similar to champion jockey Ryan Moore.

#4 TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR has suffered multiple issues over the past 12 months including ongoing fetlock issues to both legs and blood in the trachea on more than one occasion.Surgery in October 2025 to both fore fetlocks appears to have been successful judged on two led up barrier trials where he showed great initial speed whilst holding fluency through the line. The outside barrier wont make it easy to cross the field when they jump but with blinkers going for the first time he'll run a big race.

#9 LUCKY GENERATIONS delivered his first and only win on International Jockeys' Championship night courtesy of a peach of a ride from Joao Moreira. The low draw played its part in victory before a horrid barrier at Sha Tin two back brought about a disappointing result. He was then solid in defeat here last start without much luck so another opportunity from the perfect low draw is given.

#3 KING ALLOY led the speedy SNOWTHORN last start at Sha Tin before tiring through the final 150m.It's also worth noting, that he and TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR have draw the two outside barriers so between themselves they should have the power to cross the field and lead.Out in front, and out of trouble is certainly a preferred position in a class 5 environment so he should run a decent competitive race.

#6 MY FLYING ANGEL produced an extraordinary win first up over the 1400m but has since struggled to repeat the dose. On that occasion, he reeled off an outstanding final 400m of 22.45 but only honest efforts and minor placings have followed since. The strong tempo anticipated shall suit his hard finishing style so don't be surprised if he thrashes home to win.

Race 7

#11 WIN BEAUTY VIVA has done it the hard way after drawing wide barriers at three of his four Hong Kong starts and interestingly holds a nomination for the Hong Kong Derby. With the inside barrier alongside his name tonight he becomes one of the most interesting runners of the entire program. He's a handsome looking rangy type with a strong physic, lengthy action and aura to match, therefore, what ever unfolds here he should be followed with intent.

#7 SOLID WIN won in terrific fashion first up before a rise into class 3 company initially sorted him out.Trainer Ricky Yui has since transferred all assignments to the slightly easier option of Happy Valley and he's coping with the adjustment well.A win two runs back over inform galloper CORLEONE highlighted his continuing progress before an awkward beginning and wide journey became to bigger obstacle last start.Furthermore, the 1800m clearly stretched his stamina most recently, so a return to 1650m is ideal.

#6 URANUS STAR has performed well on both occasions at Happy Valley over the 1650m so you can expect him to follow up.Zac Purton won on him earlier in the season and was obviously taken by the improved performance he delivered last start.Drawing gate 10 creates a couple of initial obstacles, but it's anticipated he'll still eventually cross to lead before attempting to rest mid-race.

#2 EMBRACES has performed to a consistent rating level all season, in-fact pretty much throughout his career, and on the basis alone is expected to win another race soon. What he requires for it to fall into place is an over-cooked pace, and an unimpeded run down the stretch. The former, is definitely a realistic chance of unfolding and with regular winning rider Jerry Chau aboard, he must be treated with full respect.

#8 SILO was a progressing 3yo in Singapore before relocating to Hong Kong and on what's been witnessed so far has the ability to win in class 3.However, the concerning factor is the report of an abnormal breathing noise during the running last start where he only plodded to the line.A barrier trial under the eye of stewards and veterinary staff has since been given the thumbs up, so if your playing the exotics he cant be left out.
