A competitive nine-race card awaits us at Eagle Farm this Saturday.

We are back at Eagle Farm this weekend and we've landed on a couple of runners who present some place-heavy value.

Our best of the day comes up in the Open Handicap in the form of previous Group 2 winner Chrysaor out of the champion Chris Waller barn.

This is certainly the easiest contest he has faced in quite some time and the slight drop back in trip should see him hitting the line with gusto.

Currently shopping around the $9 mark and a 1Win x 3Place type ratio should yield some dividends. 

We then keep our powder dry until the last where we look to close out the card with the well-related Emperor from the astute Matthew Dunn stable.

This half-brother to three-time Group 1 winner Joliestar has put back-to-back wins together and is racing with a lot of confidence of late.

Maps perfectly over this sprint journey from gate four and gets plenty of weight relief with Cobi Vitler's 3kg claim.
