Eagle Farm - 1st November 2025
A comprehensive ten-race card is set for Eagle Farm this Saturday.
All eyes will be on Melbourne and Sydney this weekend but Eagle Farm puts it's hand up and we've found a couple of best bets across the ten-race card.
Our top pick of the day comes up in race eight over the 1000m scamper in the form of Holy Racket out of the red-hot Mark Currie yard who is striking at 22% over his past 50 runners.
This son of Swiss Ace returned in good order with a close-up second over Saturday's course and distance a fortnight ago and will have derived great benefit from blowing out the cobwebs there.
Again draws favourably in gate two for the sprint trip and gets the services of Angela Jones in the saddle who has won four of her past ten starts. Currently around the 6/4 mark in the old and should be in this for a long way.
Our next best starts off the day in the two-year-old contest with Rarotonga having race experience over most of the field.
This North Pacific gelding certainly wasn't disgraced placing over this track and trip when facing the starter for the first time and will have taken a lot from that day at the races.
Another to fare well at the barriers drawing gate two and Michael Rodd stays on board following that first-up placing.
Whilst race-favourite Vanzadee has shown some ability at the trials she still needs to put it all together on race day and I'm happy to risk her in favour of the experienced runner.

Race 1 No. 1 Rarotonga
