Winning Trainer: Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young (Young speaking)
On Lachy Neindorf: "He's riding in outstanding form, and I just said to him 'look, you've to press forward from that gate or you'll end up in no man's land, and with the light weight, use it, and he did exactly that."
"The horse has just got the biggest stride length, and that's just the asset that he's got. He just keeps finding. He doesn't really quicken much, but he's just got a massive stride length. And with 53 kilos on his back, he's just made it look like they're standing still there for a little bit."
G1 targets: "I think we'll probably go to the Rosehill Guineas, we've got the Alistair Clark at Caulfield and then into a Derby but you've also got the option of the Tulloch the week before which has a great record going into a Derby."
"Generally need those five or six runs and today was purely here to get that mileage into his legs because he basically went first up at Caulfield only on one jump out. So that was what it was about, he's just kicked goals today and in great time as well."
On Immediacy: "He was just a little bit wide throughout, unfortunately. But look, he'll kick back. We'll get him home and check him out, make sure he's okay and carry on to the group one in a couple of weeks, Australian Cup."
Winning Jockey: Lachlan Neindorf
On the win: "He had 53 (kg) and I knew he can maintain a gallop this horse, he actually reminds me, I haven't sat on him, but watching his replays, of Astral Flame a little bit. He's got that bit of an extravagant action that you're better off working with."
"When he bounced well and we were able to cruise across, he was keen on the bridle but I felt like I found a real happy medium spot with him, and then I just let him control me from the 700, upped the tempo because last start he was very strong late and I was aware he was going to maintain a gallop and the way this track played I was keen to try a little bit of a Pride Of Jenni, but not as extreme."
"That's the thing with these horses that have that big stride, there's no point strangling them, let them use it and I was able to do that today with a controlling gallop up front and he found that tempo that suited him and he can maintain a gallop, that's for sure."
