GEELONG v WESTERN BULLDOGS
Thursday 22 May @ GMHBA Stadium
A really really good game kicks off this round with two sides who won very very big last time out.
It was hard not to be impressed with both of them even if the opposition was so weak.
Geelong went over to Adelaide again where they play well but got hold of Port after half time. It was 12 goals to 2 thereafter.
It doesn't happen all the time but when Jeremy Cameron gets the smell of a bucket load, he takes it. At his best he's the most dangerous forward around.
| Match | Geelong | Western Bulldogs | Ground |
| Last time they met | 7.6 [48] | 13.17 [95] | GMHBA |
| Last 10 matches | 7 wins | 3 wins | |
| Notes | Dogs have won 2 of last 3 at Kardinia Park. | ||
| Prior to that they had not won at Geelong since 2003. | |||
7 goals to 0 in the opening stanza will kill off most hopes. Winning every quarter shows how dominant they were. Right across the board too with Dale down back, the Bont in the middle and Norton clunking some.
If they bring their best they will stretch the Cats and have played well there of late. Strangely the home side may be better suited away from home.
Plus tack on the intrigue of Bailey Smith and the fun and games with the Bulldogs players. It will be on.
Now without Dangerfield, the pressure will be exposed and spread to others. Dogs to cause a minor upset.
Match Selection: Western Bulldogs by 11 points
Suggested Bets: Western Bulldogs @ $1.95
