馬會在雅康納八月週歲馬拍賣會購入兩駒

香港賽馬會於最近8月13至15日在法國多維爾舉行的2021年雅康納八月週歲馬拍賣會中，以合共四十二萬歐元（約合三百三十六萬港元）購入兩匹外型吸引的雄馬。

馬會在是次拍賣會上購入的首匹馬是編號178的棗色雄馬，出自父系「花旗」(Starspangledbanner)。曾於2010年榮膺歐洲最佳短途馬的「花旗」，於其子嗣「加州星球」上季在港一再取得佳績後，現已成為炙手可熱的父系。

「加州星球」於剛過去的一季取得四捷，包括攻下2022年香港經典盃 (1800米)，以及在2022年寶馬香港打吡大賽 (2000米) 及2022年一級賽富衛保險冠軍一哩賽 (1600米) 中分別僅不敵「浪漫勇士」及「金鎗六十」跑獲亞軍，表現出色。

馬會在雅康納八月週歲馬拍賣會購入的另一駒是編號283的棗色雄馬，父系出自「真金不換」(No Nay Never)，在港的同父系馬匹包括兩匹在上季各取得兩捷的「暖在你心」及「牽旺加富」，當中「暖在你心」目前的評分更已攀升至接近三位數字的98分。

編號283週歲馬的母系為「早發」，服役時曾勝出一級賽，另曾五度在一級賽入位，包括在2012年一級賽浪琴表香港盃 (2000米) 中以優異的演出僅負於「加州萬里」跑獲亞軍。「早發」配種後迄今已有兩胎取得頭馬。
