经典赛冠军「卡普里」退役

英国圣烈治大赛的冠军「卡普里」退役，几个月后将开始配种生涯。

2017年英国圣烈治大赛的冠军「卡普里」 因找不回比赛状态退役，接下来将退役到库尔摩尔集团旗下的格兰奇育马场（Grange Stud）做一匹障碍赛种公马。

「卡普里」是「伽利略」之子，服役期间由艾丹·奥布莱恩调教。两岁赛季里，它赢过三场比赛，其中包括了二级赛贝雷斯福德锦标赛。

进入三岁赛季，「卡普里」前三战都落败了，但随后它攻下了极具分量的爱尔兰德比大赛和英国圣烈治大赛。

在竞速生涯的两场代表演出里，「卡普里」击败的赛驹很多随后都成了全球马迷耳熟能详的巨星，它们中包括了「金库神偷」、「天鹰之翅」、「树林之灵」、「水晶海洋」和「斯氏提琴」。

四岁赛季伊始，「卡普里」又赢下了一场三级赛，再之后它受过一次伤，回归后再未能找回状态。

五岁赛季七战未胜后，幕后团队宣布了它退役的消息。

据格兰奇育马场的艾尔伯特·舍伍德透露，「卡普里」目前的健康状况完全没有问题。
