在2020年神奇百万珀斯周岁马拍卖会首日，即卷一部分的拍卖中，共有170匹进行了亮相，成交了124匹，总成交价为884.15万澳元，平均成交价为7.1302万澳元，中位成交价为5.5万澳元。

2019年的卷一部分成交了111匹马驹，总成交价为717.8万澳元，平均成交价为6.4667万澳元，中位成交价为5.25万澳元。

与去年相比，今年的平均成交价上涨了10.3%，中位成交价上涨了4.7%。

今年的成交率比去年要低，神奇百万拍卖行的总经理巴里·鲍迪奇对此表示失望。

亚当·杜兰特是首日最大的买家，他花费101.6万澳元购入了15匹马驹。内维尔帕纳姆赛马公司是第二大买家，该公司花费63.7万澳元购入了7匹马驹。

西部育马者联盟是首日按总成交额算最大的卖家，他们准备了22匹马驹，卖出了15匹，这些马的总成交额为109.5万澳元，平均成交价为7.3万澳元。按照平均成交价算，亚拉河谷育马场是首日最大的卖家，该机构准备了13匹马驹，卖出了10匹，这些马驹的总成交额为102.5万澳元，平均成交价为10.25万澳元。

地域统计方面，西澳洲买家是首日的购买主力，他们花573.9万澳元购入了89匹马驹，贡献了总成交额的65%。新西兰、新加坡和香港来的买家也在首日非常活跃。

2020年神奇百万珀斯周岁马拍卖会为期两日，从2月17日开始，到2月18日结束，第二日拍卖的是卷二部分的马驹。
