将于周日举办的一级赛安德伍德锦标赛可以说是小型的"觉士盾赛"，觉士盾赛中的大多数主要竞争者都将挑战此赛。

安德伍德锦标赛中将唯一缺少的一员猛将是觉士盾赛大热门「阿纳莫」，不过本·海耶斯表示，周日的比赛过后，林德赛公园马场将能够大致了解到「布莱德先生」在觉士盾赛中的实力。

"周日的比赛将十分有趣。每个人都将了解到他们名下赛驹的大概实力，"海耶斯说道。

"我想每匹赛驹都还有进步空间，不过我对我们的「布莱德先生」很满意。"

"它上一战强势夺冠后又有了很大的进步。它本征程表现优异，接下来我们就要看它能不能在1800米途程的赛事中交出好的发挥。"

「布莱德先生」于9月3日在穆尼谷赛马场上举办的费汉锦标赛（Feehan Stakes，1600米）中一举夺冠，目前为止，它本征程两战两捷，这两场比赛都是二级赛。

周日的比赛将是「布莱德先生」首次挑战途程超过1600米的赛事，不过海耶斯对此并不担忧。

"周日的比赛将是顶级赛驹的强强对决，这正是人们喜欢看的赛事。我肯定会紧张，不过那一定会是一场让我难忘的比赛，"海耶斯说道。
